This basic 1/8 IP female thread oil lamp adapter allows for No. 2 oil lamps to be fitted with wiring burners, as the side outlet is intended to accommodate the wiring needed for a wide range of electrified burners. Once attached in place of a traditional burner, this adapter can then be fitted with the type of electrified burners that are sought after because they provide the warm, natural light of oil burners with the convenience and ease of use of electric light sockets.
Because of its small size and understated deign, the No. 2 oil lamp adapter is also perfect for smaller lamps that are intended for more practical purposes. In addition, the natural resilience of brass enables such adapters to resist weathering and other forms of wear and tear.
